The Brodhead Chapter of Trout Unlimited (Chap.#289) operates as an organization exempt from Federal income tax under the umbrella exemption of the national TU organization under Sec. 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Like all chapters of TU, the Brodhead Chapter of Trout Unlimited does not receive funding for operations from Trout Unlimited. As a result, the Brodhead Chapter of Trout Unlimited is dependent upon donations from members and others to finance its stream restoration and related conservation activities.
Donations are tax deductible to the full extent of applicable laws.
