About the Presentation: Don’s engaging presentation “Pocono Streams” will take you on a journey through the Poconos, revealing the hidden jewels that make our local waterways so special. Drawing from decades of experience as both an aquatic biologist and passionate angler, Don will share insights into the streams that define our region.
About Our Speaker: Don Baylor is a founding member of the Brodhead Chapter Trout Unlimited and brings a wealth of expertise to his presentation. After teaching English at Stroudsburg High School for 30 years and serving in the U.S. Army (1969-71), Don earned his M.S. in aquatic biology. Since 1980, he has worked as a biologist with Aquatic Resource Consulting, conducting stream baseline and monitoring studies throughout the Northeast. A dedicated fly fisherman and tier since age 11, Don is the author of “Pocono and Upper Delaware Hatches,” has contributed to Rod & Reel Magazine, and authored over 60 technical reports.
